1. Do you think Lencho was a selfish man?

ANS:- Lencho was a kind-hearted and simple man. I think lencho was not a selfish man. When his cornfield was totally destroyed he became very depressed because it was the only way of his earning. But he had a strong belief in God. So he wrote a letter to God for help. It is Lencho’s faith in God, not his selfishness. In real world, people are selfish and greedy but Lencho can be regarded as totally simple, lovable and different in character.

2.Do you think that the way Lencho had kept faith in God is reasonable?

Ans:- Lencho had unshakable faith in God. That is why he wrote the letter to God for help. When he didn't find the total amount of money what he asked he felt very angry as he believed that God can never make any mistake. It also proves that he had deep faith in God.

             However, from a logical point of view I think it is unreasonable to expect a miracle in the form of money through a letter. While his faith is admirable.

3. People must learn to hate and if they can learn to hate they can be taught to love. Justify it.

ANS:-Mandela witnessed that in the grimmest times in prison, when his comrades and he were pushed to their limits of torture he would see a glimmer of humanity in one of the guards, perhaps just for a second, and stopped to punish, but it was enough to reassure Mandela and keep him going. 

        Mandela said that People must learn to hate and if they can learn to hate they can be taught to love because love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. Man's goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never extinguished.

ANS:- The Buddhist monks are largest Tibetan settlement in india, at nearby Bylakuppe of Coorg. The monks wear red, ochre and yellow robes. The Buddhist temple at Bylakuppe is famous for its impressiveness and beauty.Bylakuppe is world's second largest Buddhist settlement located below "the rolling hills".

Ans:- Tea is used as a popular beverage worldwide and it was first used as medicine than beverage. Drinking tea energises people and decrease the feeling of laziness . So In the morning everybody in the compartment of pranjol's train drunk tea.

Ans:- On the way to the town, Valli saw a frightened cow running right in front of the bus. On the return journey, she saw the same cow lying dead by the roadside. This unpleasant sight made her very sad. She was so upset that she lost all the charm of the beauty outside. The cow filled her with joy and happiness only a moment ago was lying dead. Valli stopped to enjoy her journey back having seen the condition of the dead cow. She learnt a lesson that happiness is not permanent, Sadness also comes after happiness. She understood that death is inevitable to all who born in the earth.

ANS:- It is not a good work to trap a tiger in the zoo because animals have also the right to live freely. They feel more happy and comfortable in their natural habitat.They spend a painfull life when they are caged.

8. "A brilliant man must also be a man of moral". With the help of the sentence sketch the character of Griffin.

Ans:- Griffin was a lawless person. He discovered a kind drugs which make man invisible and he made himself invisible swallowing it. His landlord reject him for this lawless deed. In revenge he set fire to his house and went away being invisible. He did not hesitate in committing any crime. He stole many things from the theatrical company’s shop. He also attacked the shopkeeper cruelly from behind. Then he robbed him of all the money he could find. 

             He had no any moral values like empathy, kindness, honesty and social responsibility. He was also not a good human being. He was rude to everyone. When everyone asked about his secret, he hit them and escaped becoming invisible. 

        It is true that a brilliant man must also be a man of moral but though Griffin was a brilliant man, brilliant scientist, he was lack of such moral character. He did not able to use his discovery for the welfare of the society.
